🔥 𝗩𝗜𝗖𝗧𝗢𝗥𝗬 & 𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗧𝗬

𝑶𝒏𝒆 𝑷𝒆𝒐𝒑𝒍𝒆 • 𝑶𝒏𝒆 𝑷𝒖𝒓𝒑𝒐𝒔𝒆 • 𝑨 𝑮𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒓 𝑲𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒅𝒐𝒎

There is something powerful that happens when the people of God come together in 𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆.

📖 𝗣𝘀𝗮𝗹𝗺 𝟭𝟯𝟯:𝟭 𝗡𝗔𝗦𝗕 says:

“Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to live together in unity!”

Unity is more than attending the same church, sitting in the same room, or even worshiping during the same service. Biblical unity is about becoming 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁, 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗽𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗽𝘂𝗿𝘀𝘂𝗶𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘂𝘀 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁.

If the Church is going to walk in greater victory and advance the Kingdom of God, 𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗧𝗬 𝗖𝗔𝗡𝗡𝗢𝗧 𝗕𝗘 𝗢𝗣𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗟.

🔥 𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗧𝗬 𝗕𝗘𝗚𝗜𝗡𝗦 𝗪𝗜𝗧𝗛 𝗦𝗨𝗥𝗥𝗘𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗥

In John 17:20–23, Jesus prayed for something incredibly important before going to the cross:

He prayed that His followers would be one.

That prayer wasn't only for the disciples who stood with Him then. It was also for those who would believe because of their message.

That includes us.

But unity requires something from us.

Philippians 2:1–4 teaches us about humility, laying aside selfish ambition, and considering the interests of others.

We aren't all going to have the same personalities. We won't always have the same preferences. We have different gifts, backgrounds, experiences, and assignments.

𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗧𝗬 𝗜𝗦𝗡’𝗧 𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗠𝗜𝗧𝗬.𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗧𝗬 𝗜𝗦 𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗚𝗡𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧.

When we align ourselves with Jesus and His purposes, our differences no longer have to divide us.

🔥 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗯𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘀 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗼 𝗞𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗱𝗼𝗺 𝗽𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲.

⚔️ 𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗘 𝗜𝗦 𝗣𝗢𝗪𝗘𝗥 𝗜𝗡 𝗔𝗚𝗥𝗘𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧

Jesus speaks about the power of agreement in Matthew 18:19–20.

There is spiritual strength when God's people stop pulling in different directions and begin standing together.

Think about what could happen if believers genuinely came into agreement for their families.

What could happen if an entire church became unified in prayer?

What could happen if churches throughout a community laid aside competition and began contending together for revival?

What could happen if believers throughout an entire region began crying out with one voice:

🔥 “𝗚𝗢𝗗, 𝗣𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗢𝗨𝗧 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗦𝗣𝗜𝗥𝗜𝗧 𝗨𝗣𝗢𝗡 𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗦 𝗟𝗔𝗡𝗗!”

There is a tremendous difference between being in the same room and being in agreement.

When God's people become:

𝗢𝗡𝗘 𝗛𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗧.𝗢𝗡𝗘 𝗣𝗨𝗥𝗣𝗢𝗦𝗘.𝗢𝗡𝗘 𝗩𝗢𝗜𝗖𝗘.

Something shifts.

🙌 𝗢𝗡𝗘 𝗩𝗢𝗜𝗖𝗘 𝗜𝗡 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗦𝗛𝗜𝗣

We see an incredible picture of unity in 2 Chronicles 5:11–14.

As Solomon's Temple was dedicated, the singers and musicians came together as one, making one sound in praise and thanksgiving.

Then something happened.

𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗚𝗟𝗢𝗥𝗬 𝗢𝗙 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗟𝗢𝗥𝗗 𝗙𝗜𝗟𝗟𝗘𝗗 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗛𝗢𝗨𝗦𝗘.

His presence became so overwhelming that the priests could not even stand to minister because of the cloud of His glory.

What would happen if we approached worship like that today?

We don't always walk into church feeling victorious.

Maybe we've had a difficult week. Maybe there was an argument before leaving the house. Maybe the children weren't listening. Maybe finances are weighing heavily on us. Maybe we're exhausted from work.

But there comes a moment when we have to say:

“Father, I release everything I'm carrying to You. I'm here to worship You.”

Lift your hands.

Open your mouth.

Give Him praise.

Tell Him how wonderful He is.

Thank Him for what He has done and what He is going to do.

Allow His presence to heal you, remove the cares from you, and cover you with His peace.

Now imagine an entire congregation doing that together.

🔥 𝗢𝗡𝗘 𝗛𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗧. 𝗢𝗡𝗘 𝗣𝗨𝗥𝗣𝗢𝗦𝗘. 𝗢𝗡𝗘 𝗩𝗢𝗜𝗖𝗘.

🔥 𝗔 𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗙𝗜𝗘𝗗 𝗕𝗢𝗗𝗬 𝗜𝗦 𝗔 𝗣𝗢𝗪𝗘𝗥𝗙𝗨𝗟 𝗕𝗢𝗗𝗬

Romans 16:20 declares:

“The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet.”

Notice those words:

𝗨𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗥 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗙𝗘𝗘𝗧.

The enemy understands the power of believers walking together. That is why division is one of his greatest strategies against the Church.

𝗜𝗦𝗢𝗟𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗪𝗘𝗔𝗞𝗘𝗡𝗦.𝗗𝗜𝗩𝗜𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗗𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗖𝗧𝗦.𝗢𝗙𝗙𝗘𝗡𝗦𝗘 𝗦𝗘𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗘𝗦.𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗧𝗬 𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗘𝗡𝗚𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗡𝗦.

After Hurricane Michael devastated our community, I witnessed firsthand what happens when people unite around a common purpose.

People came together to help our community recover. Teams put tarps on houses, cut trees, removed debris, fed people, distributed water and supplies, and served wherever there was a need.

Nobody cared about titles.

Nobody cared about recognition.

Nobody cared who received the credit.

There was a need—and everybody moved together.

There was an incredible peace and presence of God over that place. We had opportunities to pray for people and witnessed sick, broken, and injured people experience healing.

There was something powerful about that atmosphere.

𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗘 𝗪𝗔𝗦 𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗧𝗬.

What would happen if the Church operated that way every day?

Instead of asking:

“What's in it for me?”

What if we asked:

“What does the Kingdom need from me?”

Instead of:

“Who gets the credit?”

What if our concern became:

“Does Jesus receive the glory?”

🔥 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗺𝘆 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗱𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗮 𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝗕𝗼𝗱𝘆 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗮 𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗕𝗼𝗱𝘆.

🌎 𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗧𝗬 𝗛𝗔𝗦 𝗔 𝗠𝗜𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡

Acts 2:42–47 gives us a picture of what happens when God's people begin walking together.

The early Church devoted themselves to:

𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗗.𝗣𝗥𝗔𝗬𝗘𝗥.𝗙𝗘𝗟𝗟𝗢𝗪𝗦𝗛𝗜𝗣.𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗦𝗛𝗜𝗣.𝗚𝗘𝗡𝗘𝗥𝗢𝗦𝗜𝗧𝗬.

And what happened?

🔥 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗗𝗢𝗠 𝗔𝗗𝗩𝗔𝗡𝗖𝗘𝗗.

People were saved. Lives were transformed. The Church grew.

Biblical unity isn't merely about getting along.

𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗧𝗬 𝗛𝗔𝗦 𝗔 𝗠𝗜𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡.

We come together so that we can advance together.

We may have different gifts.

Different personalities.

Different responsibilities.

Different assignments.

But we have:

𝗢𝗡𝗘 𝗟𝗢𝗥𝗗.𝗢𝗡𝗘 𝗕𝗢𝗗𝗬.𝗢𝗡𝗘 𝗣𝗨𝗥𝗣𝗢𝗦𝗘.𝗢𝗡𝗘 𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗗𝗢𝗠.

The question isn't whether everyone is doing the same thing.

The question is:

🔥 “𝗔𝗥𝗘 𝗪𝗘 𝗠𝗢𝗩𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗜𝗡 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗦𝗔𝗠𝗘 𝗗𝗜𝗥𝗘𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡?”

Because when every part of the Body takes its place and begins moving together under the leadership of Jesus Christ, the Kingdom advances.

⚔️ 𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗧𝗬 𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗗𝗦 𝗧𝗢 𝗩𝗜𝗖𝗧𝗢𝗥𝗬

There is a progression we need to understand:

🔥 𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗧𝗬 → 𝗔𝗚𝗥𝗘𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧 → 𝗣𝗢𝗪𝗘𝗥 → 𝗩𝗜𝗖𝗧𝗢𝗥𝗬 → 𝗔𝗗𝗩𝗔𝗡𝗖𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧

When we come into 𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗧𝗬, we come into 𝗔𝗚𝗥𝗘𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧.

When we come into agreement, we can move together in 𝗣𝗢𝗪𝗘𝗥.

When we move together in the power and authority of Christ, we walk in 𝗩𝗜𝗖𝗧𝗢𝗥𝗬.

And when a victorious Church moves as one, 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗗𝗢𝗠 𝗔𝗗𝗩𝗔𝗡𝗖𝗘𝗦!

God isn't calling His Church simply to gather.

𝗛𝗘 𝗜𝗦 𝗖𝗔𝗟𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗨𝗦 𝗧𝗢 𝗕𝗘𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗘 𝗢𝗡𝗘.

We're not building our own kingdoms.

We're not advancing our own agendas.

We're not competing against other believers.

𝗪𝗘 𝗔𝗥𝗘 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗕𝗢𝗗𝗬 𝗢𝗙 𝗖𝗛𝗥𝗜𝗦𝗧.

Every part has an assignment. Every part has a purpose. Every part is needed.

And when the Body knows who we are, whose we are, the authority we carry, and the assignment God has given us, we become a powerful force for the advancement of His Kingdom.

🔥 𝗢𝗡𝗘 𝗣𝗘𝗢𝗣𝗟𝗘 • 𝗢𝗡𝗘 𝗣𝗨𝗥𝗣𝗢𝗦𝗘 • 𝗢𝗡𝗘 𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗗𝗢𝗠

The enemy does not fear a crowd nearly as much as he fears a unified Body that knows its authority, knows its assignment, and refuses to be divided.

So let's lay down personal agendas.

Let's forgive offenses.

Let's refuse division.

Let's pray together.

Let's worship together.

Let's serve together.

Let's contend together.

And let's advance together.

🔥 𝗢𝗡𝗘 𝗣𝗘𝗢𝗣𝗟𝗘.𝗢𝗡𝗘 𝗣𝗨𝗥𝗣𝗢𝗦𝗘.𝗢𝗡𝗘 𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗗𝗢𝗠.

⚔️ 𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗧𝗘𝗗 𝗜𝗡 𝗖𝗛𝗥𝗜𝗦𝗧.𝗪𝗔𝗟𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗜𝗡 𝗩𝗜𝗖𝗧𝗢𝗥𝗬.𝗔𝗗𝗩𝗔𝗡𝗖𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗛𝗜𝗦 𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗗𝗢𝗠.
