Inner Healing & Deliverance:
Walking in Lasting Freedom

Inner Healing & Deliverance is more than a ministry we receive from—it is a way of life we learn to walk out daily. Our heart is not only to see you experience freedom, but to equip you to maintain and steward that freedom long after a session is complete.

It is part of God’s mercy that He does not address every issue in our lives all at once. Instead, He works with us step by step, meeting us where we are and healing us as we are ready. Before beginning Inner Healing & Deliverance, it can feel overwhelming or difficult to know where to start. That’s okay.

Our goal in these sessions is to help remove enough baggage and burdens so that you are empowered to continue the journey yourself. And while we desire to equip you for long‑term freedom, please know that we are always here for you. When done from a heart of love, additional healing and deliverance is never a bad thing.

This page is designed as a follow‑up resource for those who have received Inner Healing & Deliverance. Below, you’ll find practical tips, strategies, and resources to help you walk out and maintain your freedom. Ultimately, however, the responsibility to live in that freedom belongs to you—the recipient. Freedom must be put into action.

Walking in freedom is powerful and life‑giving. Because of that, the enemy will do everything he can to persuade you to abandon it, offering every opportunity to return to old patterns and bondage. The freedom Jesus gives is greater. Scripture promises that when you resist the enemy, he will flee—but resistance is required.

Stand firm. Guard what God has done. And keep walking forward in the freedom Christ has already secured for you.

Freedom is a gift—walking in it is a choice.
COMMON TIPS & STRATEGIES FOR MAINTAINING YOUR FREEDOM

-
Confess the general areas in which you have received freedom positively and gratefully in Prayer. Don’t allow one negative thought germinating space. (Romans 10:9-10)
-
Expect continuous and increasing freedom where Satan has previously bound you or used you. Move forward by faith without even a glance over your shoulder at what is now past. (Phil 3:13-14)
-
The power of demonic influence is now broken but the devil will present new opportunities to sin, especially in the areas where you have had strongholds and in the past have given in to your flesh. Temptations frequently occur right after the victory of deliverance. Temptation, however, will come from the “outside”, rather than the “inside”. This form of temptation has much less power, and you will be able to resist, if you will/want to resist. You will have to keep the doors shut to the old fleshly ways. The Holy Spirit will provide all of the grace and power necessary if you will call on the Lord.
-
The active warfare will likely continue until the demons assigned by satan become convinced that you are indeed firm in your resolve. The stronger you set your will, the sooner the battle will be over.
-
You will need to daily take the offense and bind any and all demons that are assigned to tempt you back into the old ways, in order to render them inactive.
-
Move into active mode and give no place to the enemy by guarding your mind, mouth and activities. Make the necessary changes that need to be made in your lifestyle and/or friends, in order to keep your deliverance.
-
Quickly repent if you fall into sin. Do self-deliverance to cast out demons in the future as needed.
-
Be in the Word daily, pray and commune with God. It is only those who do the will of God and whom Jesus “knows” that shall enter the Kingdom of God. (Matt 7:21-23)
-
Praise God for your victory. Also in times of temptation, praise God as a way of defeating the enemy.
-
Beware of thinking you can make it alone. God never intended you do it alone. Stay in a place where you are accountable, where you can receive prayer support and encouragement. It may also be helpful for you to have a one-on-one relationship for accountability with someone other than yourself. (John 15:5, Hebrews 13:5)

CONFESSION FOR OVERCOMERS
It is not uncommon for recipients of inner healing and deliverance to feel like they don't know where to begin. Below is a simple scripture scripture based prayer. We recommend you print it out and declare it over yourself every day, and whenever you feel attacked or tempted by the enemy in any way.
My body is the temple for the Holy Spirit (1), redeemed (2), cleansed (3), and sanctified by the blood of Jesus (4). My members, the parts of my body, are instruments of righteousness (5), yielded to God for His service and for His glory. The devil has no place in me, no power over me, no unsettled claims against me. All has been settled by the blood of Jesus (6). I overcame Satan by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of my testimony, and I love not my life unto death (7). My body is for the Lord and the Lord is for my body (8).
(1) 1 Corinthians 6:19 (2) Ephesians 1:7 & Psalm 107:2 (3) 1 John 1:7 (4) Hebrews 13:12
(5) Romans 6:13 (6) Romans 8:33-34 (7) Revelation 12:11 (8) 1 Corinthians 6:13

PERSONAL AFFIRMATION OF THE ARMOR OF GOD
Below is another prayer we suggest you declare over yourself every day. It is personalizing the Armor of God and serves as a good reminder that whatever we face God is greater and He has given us everything we need to be victorious.
-
I am strong the Lord and the power of His might.
-
In the name of Jesus, I put on the whole armor of God that I may be able to stand against the wiles of the enemy.
-
I wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of darkness of this world, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in high places.
-
I take to myself the whole armor of God that I may be able to withstand in the day of evil, and when I have done all to stand, I shall stand.
-
I stand therefore, having my loins girt about with truth. Your word is truth.
-
I have on the breastplate of righteousness and my feet are shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace.
-
Above all, I take the shield of faith, wherewith I am able to quench all the fiery darts of the enemy.
-
I take the helmet of salvation, and sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God.
-
I pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all my prayers and requests for your will to be done on earth as it is in heaven. I will be alert and always in prayer for all of God’s people.
-
Your Word contains all the weapons of my warfare which are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds.
-
I thank you Lord that You have not given me a spirit of fear, but a spirit of power, love and a sound mind. You have made me more than a conqueror.
Ephesians 6:10-18
