Radiant New Life Church respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the information you share via our SMS/text messaging program (the “Program”). This Statement explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect your mobile number, opt-in/opt-out status, dates and times of interactions, delivery confirmations, responses, and any preferences you share related to church communications. We do not collect sensitive personal information (e.g., Social Security numbers) or payment card information via SMS.

2. How We Use Information

We use your information to send service reminders and announcements; share ministry updates, devotionals, and encouragement; communicate urgent notifications; provide opportunities to support the Church through giving; operate and improve the Program; and comply with legal and carrier requirements. Your information is not used for unrelated commercial advertising.

3. Sharing of Information (SMS Compliance Statement)

Mobile opt-in data will not be shared, sold, rented, or disclosed to third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.

We use SMS service providers (including Twilio and Microsoft Teams) solely to deliver messages on our behalf. These service providers are contractually obligated to protect your data and use it only to support the operation of the Program.

We may disclose information if required by law or lawful governmental request.

4. Donations & Payments

Donation invitations may be sent by SMS; however, payments are processed through secure third-party platforms and are not completed by text message. Participation and donations are always voluntary. Consent to receive SMS messages is not required to attend services or give.

5. Your Choices

You may opt out of the Program at any time by replying STOP. For help, reply HELP, or contact us using the information below.

6. Data Security

We take reasonable and appropriate measures designed to protect your information against unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse. While no system is completely secure, we strive to follow reputable platform and industry best practices.

7. Children & Minors

We do not knowingly collect SMS opt-ins from children under 13 without verified parental or guardian consent. Parents or guardians may request removal of a minor’s information by contacting us.

8. Retention

We retain SMS-related information only as long as reasonably necessary for church communication, record-keeping, and compliance obligations, unless a longer period is required by law.

9. Changes to This Statement

We may update this Privacy Statement periodically. Updates will be posted with a revised “Last Updated” date.
